The 2014 Volvo adds a slick honeycomb style grille, changes to the chrome accents, and slight revisions to the rear. Behind the grille, though, Volvo packs the same classic performance that drivers loved in prior XC70 models.

But those aren't the only changes. Here's a look at the tech that Volvo has added for 2014.

·      Gloved hands during the cold New Hampshire winters have posed a problem for vehicle touchscreen displays in the past. Not anymore! For 2014, Volvo is introducing the Sensus display, giving you access to Bluetooth handsfree calling, music streaming, vehicle information and more. Its infrared-based technology allows you to use it with or without gloves.

·      A new, customizable driver's display allows you to see your vehicle information in the way the best suits your style. Drivers can choose between a standard mode, an eco mode that displays fuel economy information, and a performance mode that has a speedometer nestled inside a big tachometer.

·      Volvo is all about safety, both reactive and active. The new IntelliSafe safety system is constantly monitoring the XC70's path. If it senses that something is getting too close for comfort, it will apply the brakes?all at speeds of up to 31 mph.
