Cabin Features
The 2019 XC40 and 2018 X1 both come standard with seating for five and premium features like a power liftgate, driver memory settings, keyless entry and start, and a variety of high-end cabin materials. Unlike the BMW X1, though, only the XC40 interior also comes standard with:

- Ambient cabin lighting
- SiriusXM® satellite radio
- Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™
- Driver assistance features like forward collision warning and lane departure warning
- Portable Wi-Fi hotspot

Performance Capabilities
Both of these luxury crossover SUVs come powered by a standard turbocharged 2.0L 4-cylinder engine that makes 258 lb-ft of torque. However, the Volvo XC40's engine makes 248 hp, while the BMW X1's engine only makes 228 hp.
