The basic warranty is for most parts of your Volvo, such as your emissions equipment. Some items in your car will be replaced or wear down normally, such as air or oil filters, wiper blades, and brake pads, so these items are excluded from the warranty. The tires and battery are not covered under this warranty, but they do come with their own warranties which are covered by the manufacturers of those parts. This warranty will last for four years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first.
This warranty covers the engine, transmission, drive shaft, and drive axles, and any other part of the vehicle that makes the car move. Belts and hoses, as well as other parts of the vehicle which are designed to be repaired or replaced on a regular basis, are not covered. Ball bearings and pistons, which are usually subject to wear and tear but may not need to be replaced on a regular basis, are covered as well. This warranty lasts for four years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first.
Volvo wants to ensure that your trusty car is kept running smoothly by factory-certified technicians. The maintenance warranty covers free maintenance at factory-scheduled intervals, at the first 10,000 miles, 20,000 miles, and 30,000 miles. These services will all be performed at a certified Volvo center.
Optional maintenance programs are available. These will cover the routine maintenance schedule of your vehicle for up to 100,000 miles. You can choose from a regular prepaid plan for your scheduled maintenance intervals, or a plan with wear item coverage in addition to the maintenance.
Volvo's roadside assistance program includes a map service and trip routing, 24/7 emergency roadside assistance, and benefits for trip interruption such as shuttles and car rental. Benefits and rewards for car theft protection services are also available, and access to emergency services is included. This warranty lasts for four years.
This warranty covers the sheet metal of your Volvo. Repair or replacement is guaranteed in cases of corrosion or rust which are severe enough to cause holes, although surface rust which doesn't threaten the integrity of the vehicle is not covered. This is a 12-year warranty.
We sell certified pre-owned Volvo vehicles, all of which come with this warranty. It covers almost every part of your Volvo, and it covers the replacement or repair of thousands of components of your vehicle. Complimentary roadside assistance is covered, and you won't have a deductible for any service visits that are covered under this warranty. Certified By Volvo coverage includes a 5-year, unlimited mile warranty that can be upgraded up to 10 years.
