Healthy Lifestyle Initiative
At Lovering Auto Group, we are happy to encourage others to have a healthy lifestyle. As a company, we do a lot of little things that add up to make our work place a healthier environment. We’ll show you a list of some of the things that we do here to try to inspire healthy living amongst the employees and everyone who visits!
Lovering employees love their stand up desks! Research has found that if you sit for long periods of time, you are putting yourself at risk for a number of different health concerns. Just going to the gym doesn’t cut it. In order to make sure that you’re doing your body good, you have to get up and move around throughout the day. Now our employees can sit or stand whenever they like.
These desks also come with an app for your phone. You can set the app to remind you when to sit and stand, depending on the hours that you are at work each week.
Healthy Vending Machine
There was once a time where we had your typical vending machine. It was filled with different junk foods ranging from sodas, chips, and candies. One day we realized that a portion of our unhealthy snacking could be helped by replacing the old vending machine with a new healthy machine. This vending machine offers baked chips, herbal teas, and low-sugar beverage options. Even better, this machine takes credit/debit cards so that if you are caught without cash, you can still grab a snack.
Once our new storefront has been built at our Nashua location, employees will be able to enjoy a gym at the workplace. Work out in the morning, or after your shift, grab a quick shower in the locker room, and you’ve knocked out your workout for the day! Pictures will follow once it’s complete.
When you arrive at one of our Lovering locations, we ask that you don’t smoke. Smoking has been found to harm not only the person that is smoking, but also those around them. We posted signs around our stores to be a constant reminder to all of those visiting. You’ll see them around the lot, and on the building when you arrive!
We’re always trying to find new ways to improve and form healthy habits. Let us know what you do at the workplace to stay healthy!
