Volvo Moves Up More Polished Rungs of the Luxury Ladder

While Volvo has always garnered a solid luxury standing, the brand is getting ready to shine its shoes and put on a more polished air. For the 2014 model year, Volvo designers are working on newly refined designs as well as a complete turn-around in powertrain. What exactly does this mean for existing Volvo models? Allow Lovering Volvo in Nashua to brief you on several changes currently in the works.
In case you haven't already heard, all upcoming Volvo variants will be ditching the traditional five- and six-cylinder engines in favor of threes and fours. Though smaller, the newbies will retain the same, if not increased, power thanks to turbocharging and plug-in hybrid systems. Confirming this claim, Stefan Jacoby, CEO, says, "High-tech fuel-saving technology that produces neck-snapping performance will be Volvo's recipe."1
Now, we at Lovering Volvo in Nashua would hope that the speed found in upcoming new Volvo models doesn't actually snap your neck...But we understand the point that Jacoby is trying to make. When it comes to the new Volvo design, nothing need be sacrificed. In addition to performance and fuel-efficiency, the automaker is slated to improved style as well. Vehicles will be carefully crafted to appeal to an audience interested in cultivating luxury, not flashing it around. Rather than using a "Look at me" approach, the Volvo brand is focused on integrating upscale, luxury components in a tasteful, discreet manner.
If you're as intrigued with the automaker's direction as we are, be sure to check back with Lovering Volvo in Nashua. We're dedicated to releasing all Volvo information as soon as it arrives.
